The local Genealogy Society meets on the third Tuesday of every month at 6:30 p.m.

The Library has access to Ancestry.com free through our website, but you have to be inside the Library to use it.

We have The Sand Mountain Room located at the back inside the Library with a large local selection of artifacts, annuals/yearbooks, newspapers, censuses, and microfilm in dating back to the late 1800s. These books are not available for check out, however, we can make copies of pages for you at $0.10 for black and white or $0.25 for color per page.

We also have a Genealogy Room with local history located upstairs in the Library. To visit this room, you must sign-in at the front desk. It is a climate-controlled room that we keep locked to protect the books from aging. We also ask that you do not take any bags with you inside the room. You may take a notebook and paper to take notes if you wish. These books are not available for check out, however, we can make copies of pages for you at $0.10 for black and white or $0.25 for color per page.
